We hope that everyone is enjoying the beautiful spring weather we have been experiencing lately. Our restaurants are taking advantage of the fresh local spring produce such as the Asparagus that compliments our Loin of Domestic Spring Lamb at Frazier’s as well as the incredible Local Chiogga & Golden Beets featured in Chef Jeffrey’s Bibb Lettuce Salad. Vivace is now featuring a Bellini that showcases fresh strawberries from Langdon’s Farm in Dunn, North Carolina.
May is a time to honor our mothers and our college graduates. This weekend each of our restaurants will be opening both Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 AM and will feature special menus and cocktails. The following are several samples from the menus being offered at our family of restaurants.
South will be featuring an a la carte menu including the following items:
Honey-Glazed Pork Roast with Yam & Vidalia Onion Pudding, Blistered Tomatoes
Crab Cake Benedict with Poached Eggs, Buttermilk Biscuits, Hollandaise, Fresh Fruit
Fried Green Tomato BLT with Sourdough Toast, Duke’s Mayo
Vivace will also feature an a la carte menu with the following items:
Shrimp & Spinach Frittata with Ricotta Salata, Sun-dried Tomato Crema
Benedicto with Smoked Salmon, Risotto Cake, Swiss Chard & Tomato Hollandaise
Mascarpone & Orange Marmalade Stuffed Crespella, Whipped Crema, Strawberry Sauce
Mediterranean Marys with Rosemary-Infused Stolichnaya, Pepperoncini, Caperberries
Frazier's will be offering a 3-course brunch which includes dessert both Saturday and Sunday for $30 plus tax and gratuity. Some of Chef Jeffrey’s menu offerings:
Chilled Buttermilk Soup, Watercress, Blue Cheese Crouton
Housemade Sunchoke Agnolotti, Citrus Jicama Pureé, Brown Turkey Figs, Mâche
Seared Salmon, Orzo, Wilted Spinach, Carrot Buttons
Fresh-Squeezed Orange Bellinis with Maraschino Caviar will be offered along with other specialty cocktails.
Porters City Tavern will feature their regular lunch menu on Saturday and their brunch menu Sunday and will also be offering the earlier opening time of 10:00 AM for your convenience.

We would also like to congratulate Ian Sullivan, who is currently competing in San Diego for the National Pork Council’s annual contest. Ian recently won the regional contest with his take on the classic Italian dish Carbonara with Braised Pork Belly, Farm-Egg Raviolo & Piavé Veccio Cream garnished with Microgreens.
